Send us a client with PDFs to fix, and share in what they pay for credits

If you build websites, audit them for accessibility, fix documents or look after IT for governments, schools, nonprofits or companies, your clients are asking what to do about their PDFs. Point them here. You earn 25% of what each client you refer pays for credits in their first 12 months.

Who it is for

  • Web agencies that build and look after websites for governments, schools, nonprofits and companies.
  • Accessibility consultancies whose audits keep finding the same PDFs that nobody has time to fix.
  • Document, PDF and print shops who want the routine files done quickly so their people can spend time on the hard ones.
  • IT providers who look after a client's systems and get asked about the documents on its website.

Your clients can be any organization that needs its PDFs repaired: state and local governments, schools and universities, nonprofits, and private companies.

What your clients get

  • Their PDFs, fixed for screen readers where software can fix them. Each file comes back still a PDF, with a plain report: what was done, and what a person should still check before it is published.
  • One PDF free, with no account, so they can see the result on their own document before anybody buys anything.
  • A free account includes your first 50 pages.
  • From $0.45 a page. Pay per page. No subscription. Credits don't expire.
  • Your clients pay the published price. Nothing is added for the referral, and nothing about it appears on their account or their invoices.

What you earn

25% of what each client you refer pays for credits in their first 12 months, paid monthly.

  • It is worked out from invoices your client has actually paid. An invoice that is unpaid or cancelled earns nothing, and the commission on a payment that is later refunded or charged back is deducted from your next payment.
  • The 12 months start on the day your client's account is made. An invoice issued inside them still counts if it is paid within 60 days of its due date.
  • We pay it each month by bank transfer, under a short written agreement you sign online before your first referral.

When a client counts as yours

  • From your link: when they make their account in the same browser they followed your link in, within 90 days. If they followed another partner's link first, that link counts instead.
  • Your link is remembered in their browser only. If they open it on one device and sign up on another, forward it to a colleague, clear their browser, or their browser refuses to store it, we cannot see that they came from you.
  • By email: introduce them to us before they sign up and we record it ourselves. Within 90 days of your email, that client is yours whichever browser they use.
  • A client who already had an account, or who another partner introduced first, is not counted. The agreement settles anything these lines do not.

How a referral works

  1. You make an account or sign in, give your business details, and sign the agreement online. We review it and countersign.
  2. We give you a short code. Your link is any of our public pages with that code on the end, for example the free PDF page.
  3. Your client follows the link, tries a PDF free, and makes an account when ready.
  4. When they pay for credits, your share is on the next monthly statement and paid within 30 days of it. A month under fifty US dollars carries over until your total reaches that amount.

What we look for in a partner

  • You already work with organizations that publish PDFs, public or private, and they trust what you recommend.
  • You prefer fixing the document or the page itself, so that what a screen reader gets is in the file rather than added on top of it.
  • You tell clients plainly what software can do and what a person still has to check.
  • You do not promise legal compliance on our behalf. GovAccess does not certify ADA, Section 508 or WCAG compliance, and no automated tool can.

What a partner does not get

A partner has no access to a client's account, documents or results, and we never send them any. Each monthly payment comes with a statement that lists only the name of each organization you referred, the invoices it paid and your commission. Your partner screen shows your monthly totals.

Become a partner

Make a free account or sign in, enter your business details, read the agreement and sign it online. You can type your name to sign; drawing a signature is optional. Once we countersign, your code, your link and the countersigned copy are on your partner screen.
